meeting minutes: 3/19
Hey everyone,
Here are the minutes from tonight’s meeting:
-We will be helping out at the Recurso Alternative Career Fair next Thursday. I do not know the exact time, but it will be sometime around 11am-3pm ish. I will send out exact times as soon as I know. It is taking place at the Colonnade and we will need people to help out so keep this in mind.
-We will also be helping out the with ONE campaign to raise awareness about important issues raised in the Millenium Development Goals. UAEM will be focusing on raising awareness about access to medicines (lack thereof, I guess). We need people to help out with this as well.
-We will be sending out a message over the list serve to sign up for time slots as soon as we have exact times.
-We are meeting either Monday or Tuesday at 7:15 on campus to work on posters/bulletin boards, etc. for both the Recurso and ONE event. EMAIL LAURA ASAP AND LET HER KNOW WHICH DAY WORKS BETTER FOR YOU!
-The researcher survey is in an on-line format and we will hopefully be sending that out to the various secretaries of departments soon. We would like to have the results back and analyzed within the next couple weeks.
-National Day of Action is taking place in a couple weeks. We will discuss this soon, after we organize everything for next week!
