To prepare for our National Day of Action of the 18th, we will screen the movie Yesterday at the Reitz Cinema on the 17th from 5:30 to 7:00pm. Yesterday is an OscarĀ®-nominated drama about a mother (Leleti Khumalo, Hotel Rwanda) living with AIDS and her family. After falling ill, Yesterday (Khumalo) learns that she is HIV positive. With her husband in denial and young daughter to tend to, Yesterday’s one goal is to live long enough to see her child go to school.
