Resolution Passed!
Last night at Senate, UAEM’s resolution advocating the creation of a committee to review the licensing decisions made by our Technology Transfer Office was passed! Despite some technical difficulties, Gavin and Gloria presented the resolution beautifully and were able to to show the senators present that creation of the committee is in the best interest of UF students and faculty as well as the international community. Thanks to Brendan Moore of Gators for a Sustainable Campus and everyone else who wrote letters of support!
This morning, the resolution was covered in both the Alligator and the Gainesville Sun! Check it out!
